During National Principal Shadowing Week, Shea-Porter Visits Gilford High School and Meets Students and Teachers
GILFORD, NH— This morning, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01), a member of the House Education and Workforce Committee, visited Gilford High School to speak with students and teachers. She also shadowed Principal Anthony Sperazzo to highlight the good work the school is doing to promote innovation in the classroom.
“It was a pleasure to visit Gilford High School this morning, and to see all the innovative work being done to enhance the educational experience for Gilford students,” said Shea-Porter. “School principals and teachers across our state are working hard to help our students succeed and to ensure that they have access to high quality education. Today’s visit was an opportunity to highlight the good work that our principals and teachers are doing, and to recognize Gilford High School for its efforts to innovate in the classroom. Schools in New Hampshire and across the country need more resources to improve school infrastructure and the classroom environment, and it’s important that both the state and federal governments provide more funding for our public schools.”
