MANCHESTER, NH— Today, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01) visited St. Joseph Community Services’ (SJCS) Meals on Wheels Program in Manchester where she met with volunteers preparing meals and accompanied a driver on his/her meal delivery route. On the route, she met with the program’s clients and discussed how important this program is to New Hampshire communities.
(Washington, DC) – Today, U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Congresswomen Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01) and Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced a $16 million Clean Water State Revolving Fund Capitalization Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) to improve water infrastructure and protect clean drinking water supplies.
PORTSMOUTH, NH— Yesterday, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01) received a briefing from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard leadership and toured the facilities. Several construction projects are currently ongoing to expand the Shipyard’s capacity to modernize and repair Virginia-class and Los Angeles-class attack submarines.
